Cindy Bradbury

Cindy is an experienced senior occupational therapist with 30 years of experience, having worked exclusively in paediatrics throughout her career. Since graduating from the University of Queensland, she has developed a broad range of skills and knowledge working with infants, children and adolescents across hospital (inpatient and outpatient), community child health, adolescent mental health and private practice settings. Her roles have included both clinical and team management responsibilities, including training and supervising staff to deliver evidence-based therapy in line with high standards of clinical accountability. Before commencing her current role, Cindy established and ran her own private paediatric practice, as well as a private multidisciplinary paediatric service.

Cindy has always worked closely with physiotherapists, speech pathologists, psychologists, paediatricians, teachers and educators, and places strong value on collaboration to better understand the whole child. She believes this is essential to optimise participation and success in their childhood occupations of play, learning, self-care, physical activity and social relationships. Cindy also values continuity of care across all environments to support positive outcomes for the child, their family and their teachers.

For Cindy, learning is a lifelong process. She values gaining knowledge from others and their areas of expertise, while also sharing her own knowledge to support those around her.
