Frequently Asked Questions

Ready Kids is a modern way to deliver Occupational Therapy services. It aims to equip children and parents to have the necessary tools to help develop independence so their child can become Ready Kids. As this is a new way, there may be some questions. Check out our Frequently Asked Questions. If you have any additional questions, email us on info@readykids.com.au

Occupational Therapy aims to support individuals to do activities or ‘occupations’ they want to, need to, or are expected to do. Paediatric Occupational Therapists help support children and their families to help their develop cognitive, play and social skills, daily living skills, sensory and emotional regulation skills.

Ready Kids is an online platform that offers Occupational Therapy resources, including videos, handouts and worksheets. Ready Kids also offers Telehealth Consults to guide parents in accessing relevant OT resources for their child.

Yes. If you are self or plan-managed NDIS, you can use your NDIS funding to pay for Ready Kids telehealth consult and our online platform (under Capacity Building). We currently cannot see Agency-Managed NDIS clients.

Ready Kids does not currently offer mobile therapy services. We saw that there was a high demand for Occupational Therapists and found a new, modern way to deliver services so we could help more children and their family. That is how Ready Kids was created.

All our resources are categorised into different Skill Areas with clear descriptions how that activity can help your child. However, if you are having trouble knowing where to start, you can Book in a Consultation with our Occupational Therapists and they can suggest resources for you.

Occupational Therapists work with individuals with or without disabilities. We understand that each child is different, therefore in addition to our ready-made resources, we also tailor make resources for your child. Talk to your Occupational Therapist about your child’s needs or tell us Suggested Resources you would like us to make (if it’s not there already).

All our plans include a 7-day free trial. If you do not enjoy Ready Kids, you can cancel your plan within the first 7 days. No questions asked. However, if you do enjoy Ready Kids, there is a monthly cost. When you put your credit card details there, it means you can continue to enjoy Ready Kids continuously, even after the 7 initial days.

Ready Kids has over 100 resources available and will continue adding more. If you are having  trouble finding relevant resources for  your child, you can talk to your Occupational Therapist and they can make specific resources for your child. Alternatively,  when you are signed in, you can Suggest Resources and your Occupational Therapist will make these resources for you.
